<p><br/></p><p>Yes everyone talks about how the internet has ruined us.</p><p>Taken away some jobs.</p><p>Corrupted young minds.</p><p>Split relationships and families due to addiction.</p><p><br/></p><p>Yes, it is not a lie that the internet had bad influence on us at some point.</p><p><br/></p><p>But have you ever reasoned that the internet at some point</p><p>is the main only reason why some people haven’t gone into depression?</p><p><br/></p><p>They get to watch funny shows.</p><p>Meet new people, learn new things and making internet friends.</p><p><br/></p><p>Talking about friends,</p><p>do you realise that the internet holds relationships together?</p><p><br/></p><p>Imagine inseparable friends, lovers</p><p>having no choice but to split.</p><p><br/></p><p>The only medium of communication.</p><p>Her gadgets become her safe space because it’s their only connection with that person.</p><p><br/></p><p>The internet gives them the assurance of:</p><p><br/></p><p>“Yess, he’s alive, yes I get to see him again.”</p><p><br/></p><p>So sometimes that girl addicted to her phone is not wrong</p><p><br/></p><p>It’s the only contact she has to her friend, her safe space.</p><p>The only set of people she feels warmth [from].</p><p><br/></p><p>She misses them so bad, she wishes she could slip into her phone and get a peek,</p><p>at least a whiff of the perfume.</p><p><br/></p><p>It has one hope of sanity.</p><p>Her hold from depression.</p><p>Her point of happiness.</p><p>Her point of contact to the ones she loves.</p><p><br/></p><p>So she always on it because she’s either waiting for a</p><p>text, a call, a voice message,</p><p><br/></p><p>or she’s scrolling through old pictures.</p><p><br/></p><p>The internet keeps her sane.</p><p><br/></p>
