I choose to love you in silence, for in silence there are no unanswered questions, no trembling confessions, no fear of hearing words that could unravel everything I have built within my heart. Silence asks for nothing and demands even less. It allows me to love you without expecting to be loved in return.

I choose to love you in solitude, for in solitude you are mine in the only way I have ever dared to claim you, not by possession, but by devotion. No one can compete with the version of you that lives within me, untouched by the world and untouched by disappointment. There, your smile never fades, your voice never grows distant, and your presence never becomes a memory.

I choose to adore you from afar, for distance is kinder than reality. It protects me from discovering that perhaps I was never meant to be the person your heart searched for. Distance preserves hope where closeness might have buried it. It allows me to admire you without asking you to carry the weight of my affection.

I choose to kiss you in the wind, for the wind is gentler than my lips and freer than my hands. It reaches you without permission, brushes against your face without explanation, and leaves before it can be rejected. Perhaps one day, when a gentle breeze lingers on your skin, it will carry a fragment of the love I neverfound the courage to speak.

I choose to hold your hand only in my dreams, for dreams are merciful. They do not remind me of impossible circumstances or unanswered prayers. In dreams, your fingers find mine without hesitation. In dreams, your eyes meet mine without uncertainty. In dreams, love does not have to justify its existence.

I choose to write your name where no one else will ever read it, betwen the lines of my prayers, in the quiet pauses between heartbeats, and in the hidden corners of my soul. For some names are too sacred to be spoken carelessly. Some loves are too profound to survive the light of day.

If loving you means carrying this feeling alone, then let loneliness become my closest companion. I will wear it as others wear jewelry, not because it is beautiful, but because it reminds me that my heart once found someone worth aching for.

I ask for nothing from you. Not your promises, not your time, not even your love. To love you has already been both my greatest blessing and my quietest sorrow. You owe me nothing for a gift I chose to give freely.

And if one day you never know how deeply you were loved, that too will be enough. Not every love story is meant to be told. Some are written only in silent glances, whispered prayers, sleepless nights, and letters that are never sent.

So I will continue to love you in silence, because silence cannot reject me.

I will continue to love you in solitude, because solitude never asks me to let you go.

I will continue to love you from a distance, because distance cannot break what it never held.

I will continue to kiss you in the wind, hoping that somewhere, somehow, it reaches you.

And I will continue to love you in my dreams, because there, no sunrise steals you from me, no goodbye is ever spoken, and no ending has the power to exist.

For perhaps the purest love is not the one that is returned, but the one that remains unwavering even when it asks for nothing, content simply to exist, quietly, faithfully, forever.
