JUDGEMENT
<p>Oh well, where should I start today?</p><p><br/></p><p>Omo.</p><p><br/></p><p>Firstly, writing isn’t an easy task, not to talk more of writing something meaningful.</p><p><br/></p><p>But today, I’d like to speak on judgement.</p><p><br/></p><p>Judgment is the process of forming an opinion, conclusion, or decision about someone or something based on what you observe, know, or believe—to those of us who know this and those who don’t.</p><p><br/></p><p>But then again, how often do we actually judge based on what we know?</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, we see a person’s reaction and immediately create a story around it. We see someone being quiet and assume they are proud. Someone doesn’t reply to our message and we conclude that they are ignoring us. Someone makes a mistake and suddenly, that one mistake becomes their identity.</p><p><br/></p><p>But do we ever stop to ask why?</p><p><br/></p><p>I think judgement has become something we do so easily that we sometimes forget there is an actual human being behind the action we are judging.</p><p><br/></p><p>And honestly, I’m not saying we shouldn’t have opinions or call out wrong things. But there is a difference between holding someone accountable and completely defining them by their mistakes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe before we judge people, we should remember that there are parts of their story we simply don’t know.</p>
