DAMN I’M LAZY🥲
<p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Being hardworking is one of the hardest things you can be, emphasis on the “hard.” Though some may not think so, but what do you mean I have to be consistent every day to achieve just one goal?</p><p><br/></p><p>While some are still out there feeling that they haven’t done enough.</p><p><br/></p><p>Mmm, omo, na you sabi oo. 😭</p><p><br/></p><p>I wake up today saying, “Oh, I’ll write. I’ll crochet something. I’ll schedule a good screen time.” All of that, and I still end up either bed-rooting or doom-scrolling.</p><p><br/></p><p>The fact that I know that nothing good comes easy but still hope they do is what amazes me. Person go just dey sit down dey expect manna from heaven. Mmm, chaii. 😅😅😅</p><p><br/></p><p>Oh well, I must say a big shout-out to those who are hardworking, and may God crown their efforts because I must honestly say, it’s not easy.</p><p><br/></p><p>I won’t defend myself. I am lazy. 🥲</p><p><br/></p><p>But to an extent, because I know when to call it quits and when to just proceed as if I have nothing to lose.</p><p><br/></p><p>I do not let this laziness get the best of me, all because I feel like I deserve things to come easier just because I exist. But as it is said in the scripture, heaven helps those who help themselves.</p><p><br/></p><p>But sometimes I ask myself, what if one can’t help themselves? What exactly do they do then?</p><p><br/></p><p>Hmm, oh well. I still don’t have an answer, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t press on. I’ll have no excuse for failure if I don’t. Even though I may not be able to work as hard as some, I’ll work smart, with a sprinkle of hard work, and make sure I get what I want.</p><p><br/></p><p>I do know that, if not entirely, we all have aspects of our lives where we are, in one way or another, lazy to act or work on. But I feel that if that particular thing has a high level of importance, it will be done whether we like it or not.</p><p><br/></p><p>So, for that reason alone, being lazy isn’t worth it. Just think about it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because even though it might not seem like it these days, hard work still pays. 😌</p><p><br/></p>
