<p>Maybe; just maybe, life has a funny way of reflecting you.</p><p><br/></p><p>Like a shattered mirror revealing yourself in every person you meet.</p><p><br/></p><p>Life has a way of closing doors without goodbyes and opening them without hellos.</p><p><br/></p><p>I know.</p><p><br/></p><p>I lost myself, buried myself deep inside her. </p><p><br/></p><p>Told myself life would never see that raw wound again.</p><p><br/></p><p>I shut them out, all of them.</p><p><br/></p><p>I know I hurt them. </p><p><br/></p><p>I bled. I cried. I pleaded. Something in me broke. Humanity maybe. Sanity maybe.</p><p><br/></p><p>Something broke.</p><p><br/></p><p>I vowed to never reveal myself again.</p><p><br/></p><p>I shed the tears of a lonely old Wolf, with scars like tiny tears.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe the dark place I tried so hard to leave wasn't so bad.</p><p>Maybe not all love is toxic.</p><p>Maybe not every friendship leads to betrayal.</p><p>Maybe someone out there does love me.</p><p>Maybe I love them too.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe life isn't so bad.</p><p>Maybe the wounds I thought I had, almost made me completely mad.</p><p><br/></p><p>I'm glad that maybe; just maybe heartbreak, loss, grief and betrayal taught me ‘bout love, care and compassion all over again.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Here's to me ignoring the pain, shame, fame and everything else that connected me to that old game and starting all over again.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>To the ones I love, I'm here to try again.</p>
