<p>What happens when a relationship that once felt romantic and genuinely okay begins to feel like a debt you are paying?</p><p><br/></p><p>Here is how it goes…</p><p><br/></p><p>Your partner has, at least for now, been everything your heart desires in a person. Supportive. Present. Especially during those moments when you were really down.</p><p><br/></p><p>There were times when even your faith felt shaky, when you didn't quite know what to do or where to turn, and this person stepped in and helped you.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then it happened again.</p><p><br/></p><p>And again.</p><p><br/></p><p>Let's be honest—you didn't always want the help. Sometimes, you didn't even need it. But they were there.</p><p><br/></p><p>And yes, you've also helped in your own little ways. It may have mattered to them, but deep down, you know it doesn't compare to what they have done for you.</p><p><br/></p><p>Meanwhile, the relationship itself isn't perfect.</p><p><br/></p><p>There are things your partner does that don't sit well with you. Some are bad. Some are tolerable. Some you have repeatedly spoken about.</p><p><br/></p><p>You've communicated. You've expressed your discomfort.</p><p><br/></p><p>But somewhere along the line, something changed.</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't feel the person anymore.</p><p><br/></p><p>And that's human too. Feelings can change. Sometimes, there isn't even a dramatic reason. You simply realise you no longer want to continue.</p><p><br/></p><p>But then your conscience starts speaking.</p><p><br/></p><p>"How can you leave?"</p><p><br/></p><p>"After everything this person has done for you?"</p><p><br/></p><p>"They were there when you needed them."</p><p><br/></p><p>"Is this how you repay someone who helped you?"</p><p><br/></p><p>And suddenly, you aren't staying because you want to.</p><p><br/></p><p>You're staying because you feel like you owe them.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your peace becomes the payment.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your freedom becomes the price.</p><p><br/></p><p>And your heart?</p><p><br/></p><p>That same heart that has already become disinterested is now being forced to negotiate with your conscience.</p><p><br/></p><p>The strange thing is, this person may not even be demanding anything.</p><p><br/></p><p>They aren't saying, "After all I've done for you, you cannot leave."</p><p><br/></p><p>They may genuinely be helping because they care.</p><p><br/></p><p>They may even apologise whenever they hurt you.</p><p><br/></p><p>But what happens when the apologies become a cycle without meaningful change?</p><p><br/></p><p>What happens when you begin to realise that you're no longer in love, but you're terrified of becoming "ungrateful"?</p><p><br/></p><p>Is that indebtedness?</p><p><br/></p><p>Or is your own heart manipulating you with guilt?</p><p><br/></p><p>Because sometimes, the person isn't holding the debt over your head.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>You are.</p><p><br/></p><p>And perhaps that's the hardest kind of debt to escape.</p><p><br/></p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

Contributor Rankings

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
This page also shows the top engagers on an all-time & monthly basis.
