<p><span style="background-color: transparent;">Nobody Knew I Was Struggling</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent;"><br/></span></p><p>Nobody knew I was struggling.</p><p>I smiled.</p><p>I laughed.</p><p>I answered, “I’m fine” whenever someone asked how I was doing.</p><p>And somehow, I became very good at pretending.</p><p>People saw me going about my normal life. They saw me post pictures, reply to messages, joke with friends, and sometimes even encourage other people.</p><p>What they didn't see were the moments when I was alone.</p><p>The nights when my mind wouldn't let me sleep.</p><p>The times I sat quietly wondering if I was actually doing enough with my life.</p><p>The moments when I wanted to cry but didn't even know exactly what I was crying about.</p><p>Sometimes, I wasn't sad because of one particular thing.</p><p>I was simply tired.</p><p>Tired of trying to figure everything out.</p><p>Tired of being strong.</p><p>Tired of pretending that I had everything under control.</p><p>And the hardest part was that people had gotten used to seeing me as the strong one.</p><p>So whenever I struggled, I didn't know how to tell anyone.</p><p><br/></p><p>How do you tell people you're not okay when you've spent so much time convincing them that you are?</p><p>So I kept it to myself.</p><p>I prayed quietly.</p><p>I cried quietly.</p><p>I worried quietly.</p><p>And then, the next morning, I would wake up and continue like nothing happened.</p><p>But something changed slowly.</p><p>I started understanding that being strong doesn't mean you never struggle.</p><p>It doesn't mean you have to smile every day.</p><p><br/></p><p>It doesn't mean you have to carry everything alone.</p><p>Sometimes, strength is admitting:</p><p>I'm tired.</p><p>I need help.</p><p>I'm not okay today.</p><p>And there's no shame in that.</p><p><br/></p><p>Looking back now, I wish I had been kinder to myself during those moments.</p><p>I wish I had understood that I didn't have to have my entire life figured out.</p><p>I wish I knew that struggling doesn't mean you're failing.</p><p>Sometimes, you're simply going through a season that is teaching you how strong you really are.</p><p>So if you're reading this and nobody knows what you're going through, please remember this:</p><p><br/></p><p>You don't have to suffer in silence just because everyone thinks you're strong.</p><p>Talk to someone you trust.</p><p>Cry if you need to.</p><p>Rest.</p><p>Pray.</p><p><br/></p><p>Take things one day at a time.</p><p>You don't have to solve your whole life today.</p><p>And if all you managed to do today was survive, that is enough. ❤️</p><p>One day, you'll look back at this version of yourself and realize:</p><p>“I didn't know it then, but I was becoming stronger.”</p>
