ONCE I WAS FOURTEEN YEARS OLD
<p>I once read somewhere that nostalgia was a doorway back to youth.</p><p><br/></p><p>You just have to remember.</p><p><br/></p><p>So I remembered.</p><p><br/></p><p>And suddenly I was 14 again.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was on a weekend I think.</p><p><br/></p><p>No water.</p><p><br/></p><p>Doing what fourteen year olds in boarding school apparently considered a good use of their time.</p><p><br/></p><p>For some reason I was hanging upside down inside a landfill.</p><p><br/></p><p>A burning one.</p><p><br/></p><p>What the heck was I doing?</p><p><br/></p><p>If you know boarding schools, you know we do all our chores ourselves.</p><p><br/></p><p>And at the time, I was a dustbin worker😭😭😭.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was a lot because there was a lot of dirt and the "incenirator " as we called it had loads of shit, refuse, ant's, clothes a lot sha.</p><p><br/></p><p>I was hanging out with my friends.</p><p><br/></p><p>So they offered to help me out.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can't even remember how the memory goes😭😭😭.</p><p><br/></p><p>We achieved either a calculator or a mathematical set on our way.</p><p><br/></p><p>Only to find out it belonged to one of our prefects, and she was already looking for it as she needed it for her exams that morning.</p><p><br/></p><p>So we decided to return it.</p><p><br/></p><p>God knows how it fell inside the incenirator.</p><p><br/></p><p>Mind you it isn't a real incenirator.</p><p><br/></p><p>Just a rectangular big deep hole the whole school dumped refuse in.</p><p><br/></p><p>And that was how I ended up in the hole upside down my friends holding my legs just so I could reach whatever it was that fell inside.</p><p><br/></p><p>Mind you, I volunteered.</p><p><br/></p><p>And mind you I'd still do it again if need be😭😭😭.</p><p><br/></p><p>At 14 this made sense.</p><p><br/></p><p>Life was boring anyways so we spiced it up in our own ways.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now whenever I see a dump and I remember I wonder what the heck was I doing 😭😭😭.</p>
