Procrastination 🙂

I need someone to explain why “I’ll do it later” has somehow become a legally binding contract with procrastination.

Because now it’s later.

And I still haven’t done it😭

I think one of the most frustrating things about growing up is realizing that motivation is not always going to show up when you need it.

Sometimes you know exactly what you need to do. You know it will make your life easier. You even know you'll feel terrible if you don't do it.

And yet somehow, you find yourself watching one random video, checking your phone, reorganizing your room, eating something you weren't hungry for, feeling to lazy and tired to leave the bed and suddenly it's 11:47 p.m

Then comes the guilt,“I wasted the whole day", “I'll definitely do better tomorrow.”

Tomorrow comes, and somehow the cycle has renewed its subscription.

Maybe the problem isn't always laziness. Maybe sometimes we're just overwhelmed, tired, scared of doing something badly, or waiting to feel ready before we start. We fear failure so badly that we end up doing nothing. Sometimes,we are waiting for the"perfect" opportunity which never comes most times

Honestly?

Sometimes the only solution is to stop negotiating with yourself. Do the first five minutes, open the document, read the first page, write the first sentence, wash the first plate.

You don't have to finish everything today.

You just have to give yourself a reason to believe you're still moving.

Gracias 🙂‍↔️
