<p>The queue said it all </p><p>Like ants filling out </p><p>Full of readiness for a change </p><p>Time ran out as they walked.</p><p><br/></p><p>Cloud gathered as they talked</p><p>Queue meanders in large </p><p>All stopped at once </p><p>Some palms had pillars </p><p>Others ran with eyes behind.</p><p><br/></p><p>Others waited to be beaten</p><p>The youth harrassed the elderly </p><p>They watch helpless but determined</p><p>To make the difference </p><p>Fight must be exercised.</p><p><br/></p><p>After the intimidation </p><p>The queue came up again </p><p>We tool our turns </p><p>Some were tattered </p><p>Others were martyred.</p><p><br/></p><p>After a day of suspense</p><p>The city bleed </p><p>Armed youths raped democracy </p><p>As in the past </p><p>We watched the rape.</p><p><br/></p><p>We did nothing but gape </p><p>But the future wept.</p><p><br/></p>
