<p>Stop Comparing Your Journey With Others</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, one of the biggest problems young people face is the habit of comparing their progress with that of others.</p><p><br/></p><p>You see someone getting an internship, another person winning a scholarship, someone else building a successful business, and you begin to question your own progress.</p><p><br/></p><p>You may even start feeling as though you are wasting your time because you have not achieved what others have achieved.</p><p><br/></p><p>But have you ever considered that you are comparing your beginning with someone else's middle?</p><p><br/></p><p>Everyone has a different background, access to opportunities, challenges and responsibilities. What works for one person may not work the same way for another.</p><p><br/></p><p>Instead of spending too much time monitoring other people's progress, why not focus on improving yourself?</p><p><br/></p><p>Learn to set your own goals and take deliberate steps towards achieving them. When you see others succeeding, allow their achievements to inspire you rather than make you feel inferior. Most importantly, learn to appreciate your small progress because every skill you acquire, every book you read and every opportunity you pursue contributes to your growth.</p><p><br/></p><p>Remember, you don't have to be ahead of everyone. You only need to keep working towards becoming better than you were yesterday.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your journey may be different, but that doesn't mean it is meaningless.</p><p><br/></p><p>Let me ask you,Have you ever felt discouraged because you thought someone of your age was doing better than you?
