THE BURDEN OF STANDING ALONE

The Burden of Standing Alone for What Is Right.

Standing alone for what is right is one of the heaviest burdens a person can carry. It means choosing truth, justice, and integrity, even when others remain silent, indifferent, or openly oppose you. The weight comes from isolation—realizing that the path of righteousness is often narrow, lonely, and costly.

To stand alone is to risk misunderstanding, rejection, or ridicule. Friends may distance themselves, society may resist, and even those who should support you may fall away. Yet, this burden is also a privilege: it marks the strength of conscience over compromise. History remembers men and women who carried this weight—prophets, reformers, and leaders who refused to bow to falsehood, even when it meant losing comfort, reputation, or even life itself.

The burden, however, is not without hope. To stand for what is right is to align oneself with truth that endures. Though the present may bring loneliness, tomorrow vindicates courage. Inner peace, divine approval, and the eventual triumph of justice outweigh the temporary cost.

Ultimately, the burden of standing alone is the price of moral greatness. It is heavy, yes—but it transforms ordinary people into voices of change, and solitary footsteps into paths others will later follow.

© Obins Nuhu Isaac

Still remain presh bi iliya💯💯♥️
