<p>The Call I Kept Ignoring</p><p><br/></p><p>Every evening, her mother called.</p><p>Sometimes, she answered.</p><p>But most times, she looked at her phone and said,</p><p>“Mom, I’m busy. I’ll call you later.”</p><p>And her mother always replied,</p><p>“Okay, my child. Take care of yourself.”</p><p>One evening, her mother called again.</p><p>She saw the name “Mom ❤️” on her screen.</p><p>She was busy with work, so she ignored the call.</p><p>“I’ll call her when I’m free,” she whispered.</p><p>But she never did.</p><p>The next morning, her phone rang.</p><p>It was her aunt.</p><p>“Come home,” she said, crying.</p><p>Her heart sank.</p><p>When she arrived home, she saw people gathered outside.</p><p>Her mother was gone.</p><p>She stood there speechless.</p><p>Later, she picked up her mother's phone and saw their last unanswered call.</p><p>Then she found a voice note.</p><p>With trembling hands, she played it.</p><p>“My daughter… I just wanted to hear your voice. I love you. Call me when you can.”</p><p>She broke down.</p><p>That day, she learned a painful lesson:</p><p>We often postpone the people we love because we assume tomorrow is guaranteed.</p><p>It isn't.</p><p>So, if your mom is still alive, pick up your phone and call her today. 📱❤️</p><p>Tell her how much you love her.</p><p>Tell her how much you cherish and appreciate her.</p><p>Ask how she is. Listen to her. Make her smile.</p><p>Because one day, you may desperately wish to hear her voice again—and there may be no phone call left to make.</p><p>Don't wait until someone's absence teaches you their value.</p><p><br/></p><p>Call your mom. While you still can. ❤️</p>
