The Danger of Waiting Until You Are Ready

The Danger of Waiting Until You Are Ready

One of the reasons many people fail to make progress is that they keep waiting for the perfect time to begin.

You want to start writing, but you feel your English is not good enough. You want to apply for an internship, but you think you lack experience. You want to learn a new skill or start up a business , but you keep telling yourself that you will start when you have enough money.

Before you know it, weeks have turned into months, and months have turned into years and yet you are still waiting.

The truth is that , it’s very seldom to see successful individuals saying and claiming they were fully ready before starting . You may never feel completely ready before taking the first step. Sometimes, the confidence you need comes from doing the very thing you are afraid of doing.

One of my lecturers always says , “You don't need to be an excellent writer before you start writing. You don't need to know everything before applying for an opportunity. And you don't need to have everything figured out before you begin working towards your future.

Start with what you have and Learn as you go. You will surely Make mistakes as you are moving . correct them and keep improving.

Of course, preparation is important. But there is a difference between preparing yourself for success and using preparation as an excuse to avoid taking action.

You may not get the result you want immediately, but every genuine attempt gives you experience and brings you closer to understanding what works for you.

Let me ask you, What is one thing you didn't feel completely ready for, but when you eventually started it, things turned out well for you?
