The Illusion of Control
<p>We like to think we are in control.</p><p><br/></p><p>We make plans.</p><p>We set deadlines.</p><p>We calculate our next move.</p><p>We try to prepare for every possible outcome.</p><p><br/></p><p>And somehow, life still finds a way to surprise us.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can do everything right and still lose something you desperately wanted.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can plan for years and have everything change in a few weeks.</p><p><br/></p><p>You can be careful with someone and still get hurt by them.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's the uncomfortable part about life: some things simply aren't ours to control.</p><p><br/></p><p>We control our choices, but not always the consequences.</p><p><br/></p><p>We control what we say, but not how people understand it.</p><p><br/></p><p>We can give someone our best and still not be enough for them.</p><p><br/></p><p>Maybe that's why uncertainty scares us so much. We want guarantees from a life that doesn't give them.</p><p><br/></p><p>But accepting that we don't control everything isn't giving up.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, it's learning where to stop fighting.</p><p><br/></p><p>Do what you can.</p><p><br/></p><p>Make your choices.</p><p><br/></p><p>Give your best.</p><p><br/></p><p>And when something is beyond your control, let it be.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because sometimes, peace begins where the need for control ends.</p>
