THE SCENT OF BECOMING

Why I started ScentDiary

If you asked me what this season of my life smells like,I’d tell you it smells like freshly highlighted casebooks, perfumes sprayed on my white and black outfit before a 7 a.m. lecture, with an empty stomach because I couldn’t make breakfast and the quiet hope that I’m becoming the woman I’ve always imagined.

That’s the funny thing about memory.

We don’t always remember dates. We remember feelings. We remember places. Sometimes,we even remember scents.

I’m a law undergraduate, who loves fashion almost as much as I love storytelling. Somewhere between lectures, reading at noontime, and trying to figure out who I’m becoming, I realized,I wanted to preserve this season, not because it’s perfect, but because it’s mine and it’s authentic.

ScentDiary is where I’ll collect these moments.

Some entries will be about studying law in uni.

Some will be about clothes that made me feel confident.

Some will be about books, heartbreaks, friendships, ambitions, and the small things that ordinary shape us .

If you’ve ever believed that ordinary lives deserve a beautiful stories, I think you should grab a seat and and feel at home here.

Welcome to ScentDiary.

Here is to documenting every moment we’ll one day look back on with gratitude and satisfaction.
