<h1>A short writeup on a young man who grew up in urban area close to a river. </h1><p><br/></p><p>Chile or Pa Chile as fondly called then grew up in a semi crowded city neighborhood where the fresh water of a small river rolled past the back of their home.</p><p><br/></p><p>Life by the Waterside kids, the sounds of 'SAMA ! GWUMA !!'</p><p><br/></p><p>A fleeting memory; how time flies.</p><p>Sama means to wash.</p><p><br/></p><p>Gwụma mean to swim.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sama ! gwuma !! - Coined together, is an idiomatic expression enthusiastically used to address one who has gone to enjoy swimming while washing clothes at the same time.</p><p><br/></p><p>In the context of sama, gwụma, it's actually the gathering of children, teenagers and also adults from all age category but, mostly dominated by teenage age group - that makes sama gwụma fun.</p><p><br/></p><p>Characterized by :</p><p>1. Kafa - acrobatic, competitive displays in rivers </p><p><a class="tc-blue" href="https://2.Oro" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">2.Oro </a> ro - hide and seek game in river</p><p>3..... and many other river activities. </p><p><br/></p><p>The sounds of birds, the noise of cricket and all the creatures that live in a bush near the river. The danger: When heavy seasonal rains fell, the dark water rose fast and spilled over the low banks</p><p>. </p><p>The short sweet urban life that the brain saved.</p>
