The words between silence
<p>Silence is strange.</p><p><br/></p><p>sometimes it's peace.</p><p><br/></p><p>sometimes it's the loudest thing you've ever heard.</p><p><br/></p><p>I've always been regarded as the quiet type,the introvert who never says her mind,and I know first hand how exhausting silence feels.</p><p><br/></p><p> Silence is supposed to be nothing, it's not supposed to come with words, it's to be quiet and peaceful.</p><p><br/></p><p>But it's funny how I've come to realize that silence holds more words and meaning than noise ever could.</p><p><br/></p><p> Silence is more demanding,it keeps you guessing.</p><p>Silence thrives in the suspense and revels in confusion.</p><p><br/></p><p> silence feels comfortable in my head,it is chaos and sometimes drowns my entire being.</p><p> I just want quiet.</p><p><br/></p><p>I don't want words.</p><p><br/></p><p>but silence never accepts defeat,it taunts you and never retreats.</p><p><br/></p><p> Every attempt to subdue it makes it scream even louder.</p><p> silence isn't one thing, it's everything you never got to voice out.</p><p> it never competes, it's smart and knows it's voice screams louder and firmer than noise ever could.</p><p><br/></p><p> it takes pride in secrecy and it loves the dark.</p><p><br/></p><p>Everyone is quick to dismiss silence because they believe it's subdued but silence doesn't resent them, it loves it's element of surprise.</p><p><br/></p><p>you never know what it'd do or say next.</p><p>it'll hate, condemn,curse,inspire, comfort and love without saying a word.</p><p>it loves leaving others clueless,it is loud,it is chaos and it demands to be respected.</p><p>silence doesn't feel so lonely anymore,it feels like home, it's the moment when I stop speaking and start listening to myself.</p><p>Silence shields me from hurt, makes me realize that not all words need to be uttered.</p><p> I still feel regret over some words I never got to say,but I still choose silence over words, keeps them guessing, clueless and confused.</p><p> In a weird way silence is my hero.</p>
