<p>In the past this used to be a big thing for ladies especially,</p><p>It still is in specific parts of the world mainly blacks </p><p>The society see it as a lady’s crown and worth</p><p>A man’s status: a virgin boy is seen as a whore </p><p>Just because people decided it </p><p>A virgin lady is seen as someone sexually pure , someone who didn’t loose herself to the world,to the sexual desires of men, to the nerve between her legs </p><p>A virgin boy is seen as unexpected,hasn’t tasted any of the goodness in the sexual world, maybe a whimp </p><p>We won’t talk about the bias between genders (maybe next time)</p><p>We should ta about the way it hurts </p><p>Babe… having sex doesn’t ruin your worth (though it can wait till the right time)</p><p>It doesn’t elevate you either </p><p>But it shouldn’t be the judge of what you are </p><p>A broken tissue shouldn’t be the judge of who you are </p><p>“You didn’t wait till marriage” doesn’t reduce you, doesn’t make you behind those who kept theirs</p><p>It doesn’t define you </p><p>Yes maybe there’s a sense of security in keeping your legs closed, not having to worry about STDs or STIs , overthinking, depression or even pregnancy </p><p>But it shouldn’t change your identity </p><p>A doctor who married a virgin isn’t different from one who didn’t, besides it isn’t written on your forehead </p><p>You’re worth as much in the society as your peers </p><p>Virginity doesn’t define you, besides it doesn’t necessarily mean purity </p><p>You could be sexually impure even with your legs closed </p><p>Masturbation , pornography ,and other stuff we engage in</p><p>So if you didn’t loose it , don’t get pressured, you don’t have to </p><p>And if you’ve lost it, it doesn’t change who you are </p><p>Love yourself 🥰</p>
