When tears are heavier than words
<p>I had a paper but no pen…</p><p>So my tears helped me express.</p><p>Each drop, a sentence.</p><p>Each sob, a punctuation.</p><p>Grief wrote what my hands couldn’t.</p><p>Pain inked what my mind refused to touch.</p><p><br/></p><p>They say “write it out,”</p><p>But what happens when the ink runs dry</p><p>And all I have is the flood behind my eyes?</p><p><br/></p><p>So I pressed my face to the page</p><p>And let the ache bleed through.</p><p>Let silence speak in saltwater.</p><p>Let my heartbreak leave fingerprints</p><p>Where my pen never could.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because sometimes,</p><p>We don't write poems…</p><p>We cry them.</p>
