<p>Music Recommendation: EDEN by Elixir Worship</p><p>_</p><p><br/></p><p>Adam walked as a spirit in the Garden of Eden and had access to everything that was there except one thing: The tree of the knowledge of good and evil which God had commanded him not to eat of.</p><p><br/></p><p>God told him he will die when he eats of it, but the serpent had deceived Eve who gave Adam the fruit of the tree to eat, telling them they shall not surely die, but become as gods, knowing both good and evil.</p><p><br/></p><p>Well, God wasn't lying when he said he shall die. And the serpent wasn't entirely wrong or correct either when he said they shall not surely die.</p><p><br/></p><p>Have you ever heard the word 'Alienated'?</p><p><br/></p><p>That's exactly what happened. </p><p><br/></p><p>Adam suddenly knew he wasn't supposed to be naked, which from the start, was not a problem with God. Adam had impurities in his heart to know he had to sew fig leaves to cover his nakedness which was like a shame to him at that time.</p><p><br/></p><p>The problem about the tree and the death God talked about was that the spirit (God's own spirit) would have to leave Adam. </p><p><br/></p><p>The death God spoke of was not an instant physical death. It was the departure of God’s own spirit from Adam. The relationship was broken. Alienation entered.</p><p><br/></p><p>Now, God asked him, <em>Where art thou</em>?</p><p><br/></p><p>Well, God wasn't seeing the man he created in His IMAGE anymore in that Garden. Spirits walked in that Garden, but after the disobedience, God no longer sees the spirits and had to ask.</p><p><br/></p><p>Do you understand now why we have to worship Him in Spirit? </p><p>Because He is a Spirit being. </p>
