This is the kickstart of a new season, and this season will be dealing with the Seven Mountains of Influence.Some might already be familiar with the phrase. Government.Leggooo! 🚀.............A Christian politician sits on a government committee deciding whether to approve an emergency security bill.The bill would give the government extraordinary powers to detain suspected terrorists without the normal judicial process. The government claims it is necessary to prevent an imminent attack and save hundreds of lives. But the politician knows something the public doesn't.The bill isn't really about terrorists.It's a guise to silence political opponents and anyone who threatens the government ahead of the next election. Then there's something even more personal. HIS FATHER. His father is a well-known pastor who has repeatedly preached against the government's atrocities.And now...His father's name is on their list. Everyone on the committee has voted in favour of the bill. Everyone..except him. According to the committee's rules, the bill cannot pass without the full approval of its members.But there's another rule:Any member who refuses to vote within 48 hours will be replaced. He knows exactly what that means.If he refuses, he loses his seat.Someone they can control takes his place.The bill passes. His father is silenced..........to death And because he has seen confidential evidence concerning the government's plans, he knows he will be silenced too. ...His father's only son. But if he votes for the bill...He keeps his seat and his position in the room. But at what cost? ✓Can he preserve his position by participating in something his conscience condemns?✓Can a little backsliding be justified if it might buy him enough time to protect his father?
