Chat, How would you describe me? - by Princess Chronicles

If a complete stranger sat beside me and said, “Who is Princess? I want to know EVERYTHING about her.” — this is how I’d introduce you.I’d probably say: Meet Princess.Her full name is Princess Olorundare Olayemi, although she has clarified before that Olorundare is her surname, Olayemi is her first name, and Princess is her other name. She likes being called Princess, and if you call her “Princess,” you're probably already on the right track. 😂She is a young Nigerian woman in her early twenties, currently in the final stretch of her Accounting degree at Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA).But if you meet her and assume “Oh, she's just an Accounting student,” you've missed about 80% of the story. She's one of those people whose interests refuse to stay inside one box.She's an accounting student, public speaker, writer, storyteller, community leader, emerging data analyst, facilitator, host, and entrepreneur—and she's still figuring out exactly how all those pieces fit together.And somehow, she wants them all to make sense. 😭 Academically, she's serious.Princess is not someone who treats school casually.She's worked hard throughout university and has maintained a strong academic standing. Her CGPA has generally been around the second-class upper range, and she's very conscious of how her final result turns out.She's also the kind of student who can look at a result and immediately start calculating:“Okay, if I get this GPA this semester, and this happens next semester, what does that do to my CGPA?”😂Accounting is her degree, and she's interested in eventually becoming a Chartered Accountant and working within accounting, finance, or corporate environments.But there's a funny part:She doesn't particularly like auditing.So she's studying Accounting while simultaneously trying to figure out which parts of the profession actually fit the person she is.She's also been exposed to Sage 50, QuickBooks, Excel and data analysis through her internship/SIWES experience. And recently, something interesting happened.For years, she had mentally categorized herself as a “soft-skills person.”Communication? Yes.Public speaking? Absolutely.Leadership? Definitely.Writing? Give her the pen.Technology?“That's probably not for me.”Then she started learning data analysis and realized that perhaps she'd been putting herself in a box that was much smaller than necessary. Because Princess is a communicator.This is probably one of the strongest parts of her identity.She loves words.not just writing words.Using them.Speaking them.Structuring them.Making people understand them.Making people feel something through them.She's particularly interested in public speaking, communication, storytelling, confidence and leadership. Her personal philosophy is essentially:You have a voice. If you don't use it, nobody else is going to use it for you.And she doesn't just say that.She's actually built things around it.She's spoken on numerous stages, facilitated programmes, mentored people and organized public-speaking initiatives.She has run a 14-Day Speak to Confidence Challenge, helping participants become more comfortable expressing themselves and speaking publicly.She's also building toward something bigger: her own public-speaking/communication academy.And she sees herself eventually doing more professional speaking, facilitation and corporate hosting.<img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1789211264574.jpg"/>She's a leader.Princess has held several leadership positions during university.She served as Assistant General Secretary of the AAUA Student Union, and she has also been deeply involved with student organizations.She has been involved with the AAUA Literary & Debate Society, including serving as its president.The society's slogan is:“War of words, winning of the mind.”Which is honestly very Princess. 😂She's also been involved with the Tax Club, where she has held leadership positions including Treasurer and General Secretary.And then there's one of her major community roles:Cowrywise Ambassadors AAUA.She's a Campus Lead.This is something she takes seriously.She's helped build and coordinate an active student community, worked with teams, organized activities, driven engagement, and created programmes around financial literacy, leadership, entrepreneurship and student development.At one point, her work was recognized by Cowrywise management, and she was named Campus Lead of the Month across Nigerian institutions.So when Princess says she likes leadership, it's not theoretical.She likes building things and making people participate in them.She is also a writer.And this is where another side of her comes out. Princess has a creative identity called Princess Chronicles, where she sees herself as a:writer, speaker and storyteller.Her writing tends to revolve around things she genuinely thinks about:money and personal financeleadershipstudent lifesocietal expectationsconfidencecommunicationgrowthrelationships and human behaviour She likes writing that feels human.Not corporate.Not stiff.Not unnecessarily polished.And definitely not something that sounds like it came out of a motivational-quote factory. 😂She likes Nigerian humour, Gen-Z energy, storytelling, Pidgin when it fits, emotional honesty and punchy hooks.If you give her a paragraph that sounds too generic, she will probably look at it and say:“This is giving AI.”😭She's building a personal brand.Princess isn't just creating content randomly.She's becoming increasingly intentional about how she presents herself.One of the descriptions she uses is:Princess Olorundare — Public Speaker & Communication Strategist.She doesn't particularly like being publicly labelled a “coach.”She prefers positioning herself around speaking, communication, facilitation and strategy.She's interested in eventually becoming someone organizations can bring in to:speakhostfacilitatetrainmoderate conversationscommunicate ideasengage young peopleAnd she wants her work to have substance behind it. She is entrepreneurial.Princess has an interesting relationship with money.She's studying Accounting, she's interested in finance, she thinks about income, and she has actively explored digital skills and ways young people can make money.She's interested in SME finance, financial analysis, digital work and entrepreneurship.She's also interested in building multiple income streams rather than relying completely on one traditional career path.She's already experimented with things like:course sellingdigital skillssocial mediarunning adsspeakinghostingmentorshipwriting/contentcommunity building So her mindset isn't simply:“Get a job.”It's more:“Build a career, build skills, build assets, build opportunities.”She's ambitious—but her ambition is evolving.This is important.Princess doesn't seem to want success just because success looks good.She wants independence.She wants to be financially capable.She wants to be respected for what she can do.She wants her voice to matter.She wants to build something that belongs to her.She wants opportunities that expose her to bigger rooms.And she wants to look back eventually and know that she actually did something with her potential.She's also thinking about postgraduate study and scholarships, including potentially pursuing an MSc and PHD in the future.But she is not just “career Princess.” There's a very playful human being underneath all of this.Princess is funny.Sometimes unintentionally.Sometimes VERY intentionally. 😂She likes banter.She can take a tiny situation and turn it into a whole story.She has a flair for dramatic delivery.She likes captions that make people stop scrolling.She likes titles that hit immediately.She can be incredibly serious about something and then suddenly say something ridiculous that completely changes the mood.She also has a very recognizable way of talking.She'll explain something for five minutes, realize she hasn't quite captured what she means, and go:“No, no, no. That's not exactly what I mean…”Then she'll explain it again.And eventually:“YES. That's it.”😂She's particular.Very.Princess knows when something doesn't sound like her.If you write something for her and it's technically good but doesn't capture her voice, she won't just accept it because it's grammatically correct.She'll keep refining it until it feels right.She's particularly sensitive to:generic languageclichésartificial-sounding expressionsunnecessary formalityvague motivational statementswriting that doesn't sound humanShe wants her communication to sound like Princess, not like “professional LinkedIn woman <a class="tc-blue" href="https://twocents.space/insights/tag/47">#47</a>.” She is also very reflective.For all the confidence you see publicly, there's a very thoughtful side of her.She thinks about her choices.She questions herself.She reflects on relationships.She thinks about boundaries.She thinks about whether she's growing in the right direction.She notices patterns in people.She cares about intentionality, reciprocity and action.She's not particularly impressed by people who talk endlessly without doing anything.For her, actions matter.And she values independence. Princess wants to be able to stand on her own feet.She doesn't want her entire life to depend on somebody else rescuing her.She wants to be capable.She wants to have her own money.Her own career.Her own voice.Her own identity.Her own accomplishments.And she has a strong belief in knowing what she brings to the table.At the same time, she's not someone who believes she has to do absolutely everything alone.She appreciates genuine support, generosity, patronage and people who show up for her.There's a difference in her mind between being dependent and being supported.She has a soft side.She doesn't necessarily put it on display all the time.But it's there.She's sentimental about certain things.She values meaningful connections.She notices gestures.She appreciates people who genuinely care.And when she loves or values someone, she tends to show it through support, giving, encouragement and patronage.But she's also big on boundaries.She's not trying to be everybody's person. She's quite intentional about romance too. 😂Princess isn't the type to publicly display every romantic development in her life.She's actually pretty private about that part of herself.Her attitude is basically:If you're seeing me post a man, there had better be a ring somewhere in this story.😭She's playful about romance, but she also has standards around how she wants to be treated.She's interested in intentionality rather than random attention.And she's definitely the kind of person who can turn one tiny romantic interaction into a 17-minute analysis with me. She has faith and values.Her worldview is influenced by her Christian faith, and scripture is meaningful to her.She's referenced verses like Proverbs 31:25 and Song of Solomon 5:16 at different points.But she isn't just interested in appearing inspirational.She likes the intersection of faith, purpose, work, character and becoming. She's a first daughter.She's the first child in a family of five, with younger sisters.That probably explains at least some of the leadership instinct. 😂She's accustomed to responsibility.She's used to thinking about other people.And she's also navigating that stage of life where you're simultaneously trying to honour where you come from while figuring out who you're becoming. <img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/1789211264607.jpg"/>She's currently in a transition period.And honestly, this might be the most important thing to understand about Princess.She's becoming.She's finishing university.She's dealing with an unexpectedly disrupted final stretch because of the situation at school.She's thinking about graduation.She's thinking about career.She's learning data analysis.She's considering technology more seriously than she used to.She's thinking about postgraduate opportunities.She's growing her public-speaking brand.She's experimenting with content.She's thinking about income.She's building communities.She's trying to figure out what parts of herself belong together.So she's not standing at the end of the journey saying:“I've figured everything out.”She's standing in the middle of it saying:“I know I have potential. Now I need to figure out how to turn all of this into something.”And that's probably the best way to describe her. Princess is multidimensional.She's an Accounting student who loves communication.A speaker who loves writing.A leader who loves creativity.A finance-minded person exploring technology.An ambitious woman who can still be ridiculously unserious.Someone who wants independence but appreciates genuine support.Someone confident enough to lead a room but humble enough to ask, “Does this actually make sense?”Someone who wants to be visible but wants that visibility to mean something.Someone who doesn't just want to look successful—she wants to become competent. And perhaps most importantly:Princess doesn't seem interested in becoming somebody else.She's trying to become the fullest version of herself.She's still figuring out what that version looks like.But she's already collecting the pieces:Accounting.Finance.Data.Speaking.Writing.Leadership.Storytelling.Entrepreneurship.Community.Faith.Independence.Impact.And somewhere in the middle of all those pieces is a young woman who is basically saying:“I know there's more in me. I just need to keep becoming.”That's Princess.My Blue Queen. 💙
