Financial literacy and chores are for both genders
<p>Girls should be taught financial literacy alongside traditional ideas about adulthood.</p><p>I keep hearing talks like : "Women are meant for the kitchen"</p><p>"All these ones wen you dey do na husband house he go still land you".</p><p><br/></p><p> Now, not only have women being looked at with a slave worth lense but our ambitions are constantly been diminished even by our fellow women, who believed that what happened in their generation isn't meant to be questioned.</p><p>You can imagine???</p><p>To the extent that while in secondary school one of my male teacher pointed out that, you are a woman and you own a car, a house or you're still proceeding with your masters, then no man would want to marry you.</p><p><br/></p><p>And honestly, I despised that tutor from that point forward.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>So basically we aren't seen as complete humans, YET...we birth children, go through cycles that drains us and you think being ambitious is too much for us???</p><p><br/></p><p>The shocking part is that even parents,( not all ) now join hands in dimming the dreams of their female child.</p><p>My dad once told my brother to leave the kitchen that he has four sisters, and since that day I noticed that my brother has become lazy towards chores, that even to lift a finger he can't.</p><p>Financial literacy is meant to be provided to both gender.</p><p>Is that too much to ask ???</p><p>Even if it isn't provided to us , please next time you hear the dream of a female don't try to ruin it for them.</p><p> We female deserves more, at least it isn't heavy loads we are meant to carry, these are easy tasks we can do but we remain restricted.</p><p>This indeed is not fair</p>
