<p>Sometime ago I heard about freelancing and the skills that stood to me most were : writing and video editing because growing up I wrote poems and I was always eager to adjust the brightness of a picture or the skin tone, whatever made it pleasing to the eyes.</p><p><br/></p><p> And that's when I started as a ghost writer, also learning video editing side by side but there's something I want you to pick form my story and I'm getting to my point.</p><p><br/></p><p> Each time I would scroll through Tiktok I would see different ghostwriters doing so well or editors that are already pros in the editing game. And yes I felt behind, I kept on comparing my journey with people. And that's when I deleted all my stories in a novel app and I lost interest in my editing.</p><p><br/></p><p> I know people often say "Comparison is a thief of joy". But I say comparison does more than just stealing our joy.💁♀️</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Comparison steals Satisfaction </p><p><br/></p><p>Interet</p><p><br/></p><p>Happiness </p><p><br/></p><p>Healthy living </p><p><br/></p><p>Gratitude </p><p><br/></p><p>Motivation </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>And ofcourse "joy "</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>This term COMPARISON has a way of diminishing your morale or the hype you get form starting out something</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>It stings most when you see people living the life you want or having the clothes you long for, or eating the kind of food you crave, or even people having body types you've always wished for.</p><p><br/></p><p> We downgrade our success, shrink our identity or even give people high regard than we give ourselves.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>This might sound little but when you keep feeding this comparison you won't recognize the mess up you've brought on yourself.</p><p><br/></p><p> Just so you know I returned as a writer well not as a ghostwriter and I'm yet to continue my editing. Let this be a sign for you to hold yourself at high regard, enjoy every stage, track your success but with moderation to avoid the obsession for fast results</p>
At the end of the month, we give out prizes in 3 categories: Best Content, Top Engagers and
Most Engaged Content.
Best Content
Top Engagers
Most Engaged Content
Best Content
We give out cash prizes to between 7 and 20 community members with the best insights in the past month.
The winners are picked by an in-house selection process.
The winners are NOT picked from the leaderboards/rankings, we choose winners based on the quality, originality
and insightfulness of their content.
Here are a few other things to know for the Best Content track
1
Quality over Quantity — You stand a higher chance of winning by publishing a few really good insights across the entire month,
rather than a lot of low-quality, spammy posts.
2
Share original, authentic, and engaging content that clearly reflects your voice, thoughts, and opinions.
3
Avoid using AI to generate content—use it instead to correct grammar, improve flow, enhance structure, and boost clarity.
4
Explore audio content—high-quality audio insights can significantly boost your chances of standing out.
5
Use eye-catching cover images—if your content doesn't attract attention, it's less likely to be read or engaged with.
6
Share your content in your social circles to build engagement around it.

The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
