So this semester, I joined a media organization that helps me grow as a content creator. They frequently organize parties, so when one of my teammates hosted an event, he invited all of us to help out after all, we’re a team.

I got ready, went to another friend’s house so we could head over together, and we made our way to the party. Once we arrived, we shot some content and had fun for a bit, but eventually, we separated. I started feeling extremely bored, so I decided to look for a teammate who always brings drinks to these events.

When I found him and asked for a drink, he asked, "Do you want Fanta or something?" I replied, "No, not Fanta I want an actual drink." He told me to follow him, and he gave me a drink called Big Ben. Mind you, all my teammates were panicking because they knew I don’t drink or smoke. He told me to take a sip, but I took a whole gulp instead. It was so bitter it burned my throat and my head, tasting like sheer anguish and depression.

Yet, even after that torturous gulp, I didn’t feel anything, so I took a second cup. Right after that, my legs got wobbly, and I couldn't stand. Before anyone knew it, I started crying uncontrollably, fighting for my phone so I could call my mom. My friends quickly took my phone away and tried to calm me down, but I wouldn't listen. I just kept crying, rambling on about feminism, misogyny, and how people confuse feminism with misandry. I even cried about how sad my mom would be that I was "associating with darkness" (meaning my teammates 😭) and kept shouting that I wanted my mommy.

Once they finally managed to calm me down and the crying stopped, I started spilling everyone's secrets that was the moment I realized I become a major blabbermouth when I'm drunk.

That was the first time I ever got drunk, and it will definitely be the last. Guys, never give in to peer pressure though to be fair, nobody actually pressured me. I just wanted to try it, and curiosity got the better of me. I insulted so many people; I'm honestly glad I didn't get beaten up! Luckily, my friend David took care of me until I sobered up (I developed a temporary crush on him just for that), I was also flirting with another cute guy omg, so embarrassing that was the only part I didn’t regret tho🙈.
