<p><br/></p><p>---</p><p><br/></p><p>Now the devil may try to feed your mind giving thought </p><p>Thinking why should I be grateful </p><p>The country is in a grave state </p><p>From poor govt to the economic recession </p><p>and the insecurity and corruption </p><p>Or the high inflation and outrageous price of things </p><p>Things in the country no too sure </p><p>Everybody dey Japa </p><p><br/></p><p>But make I remind you </p><p>Here you are still counted </p><p>Among the living </p><p>Still able to say yes when asked have you eaten </p><p>God is good </p><p>He took you through the hurdles of life from January till now </p><p>Making you a victorious winner for battles you didn't fight </p><p><br/></p><p>Unfortunately people are quick to judge </p><p>Quick to look at the negative things and hold grudge against God </p><p>But can't you see the goodness of this awesome God </p><p>You didn't get that promotion but there are people out there admiring your job </p><p>You didn't pass that semester exam but there are people praying earnestly </p><p>that they just get that admission that you have </p><p><br/></p><p>You dey complain about the rent but your head get roof </p><p>You dey cry say money no dey but your belle no empty today </p><p>You dey look at wetin you no get, </p><p>but forget the breath in your chest is a miracle on its own </p><p><br/></p><p>So lift your hands, even if e dey shake </p><p>Open your mouth, even if voice dey crack </p><p>Say thank you, not because everything dey perfect </p><p>But because the One who kept you till now </p><p>is still writing your story </p><p><br/></p><p>The country fit dey shake, </p><p>but your God no dey shake </p><p>People fit dey Japa, </p><p>but His grace never Japa from you </p><p><br/></p><p>So why should I be grateful? </p><p>Because I dey alive. </p><p>Because He dey with me. </p><p>Because tomorrow still get hope. </p><p>Because God is good. </p><p>And His goodness no get expiry date.</p><p><br/></p><p>---</p>
