TELL ME WHY YOU'RE DEPRESSED 😒

WHEN SADNESS BECAME A PERSONALITY

I’m actually getting tired of this thing, and yes, I’m angry. Because WHAT is going on with this generation?!

Everybody is depressed. Everybody is tired. Everybody is “going through it.” You open social media and BOOM — another sad caption. Scroll again — another person talking about how nobody loves them. Scroll again — another “I just want to disappear” post.

WAEEEEEEEE?! 😭😭😭😭😂

And before someone comes here to misunderstand me, I KNOW depression is real. I know people genuinely struggle with things they don't talk about online. I am NOT talking about them.

I’m talking about people who have turned sadness into an entire personality. You’re sad, so you play sad music. You’re sad, so you consume sad content. You’re sad, so you keep posting about how miserable your life is. Then you keep feeding that feeling until it becomes your identity.

TELL ME WHY?!

You’re a teenager. Your parents are paying your bills. You’re still figuring out life. You have problems, yes! Everybody does! But why have we suddenly decided that every disappointment, heartbreak, bad day or moment of loneliness must be called depression?!

Sometimes, you’re not depressed. You’re just sad. And you need to stop feeding the sadness.

Because honestly, I’m TIRED.
