<p><br/></p><p>THE FINAL REVELATION — WHO WAS AMY?</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>The truth is...</p><p><br/></p><p>There were never two surviving girls.</p><p><br/></p><p>Seventeen years ago, the mother had two daughters: Eni and Amy.</p><p><br/></p><p>Eni was sick and dying.</p><p><br/></p><p>Desperate, their mother went to the old woman, who promised her that one child could take the other's illness.</p><p><br/></p><p>But there was a condition:</p><p><br/></p><p>One girl's identity had to disappear.</p><p><br/></p><p>The ritual worked—but not the way their mother expected.</p><p><br/></p><p>Amy took Eni's illness.</p><p><br/></p><p>And Eni survived.</p><p><br/></p><p>But something went terribly wrong.</p><p><br/></p><p>The girls' memories became mixed together.</p><p><br/></p><p>Amy remembered being Eni.</p><p><br/></p><p>Eni remembered being Amy.</p><p><br/></p><p>And their mother couldn't tell which daughter was standing in front of her anymore.</p><p><br/></p><p>So she chose.</p><p><br/></p><p>She called the surviving girl Eni.</p><p><br/></p><p>And she buried Amy's existence.</p><p><br/></p><p>But there was one problem.</p><p><br/></p><p>Amy hadn't completely disappeared.</p><p><br/></p><p>She remained inside the surviving girl's memories.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's why the girl kept seeing Amy.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's why Amy appeared in the mirror.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's why she heard Amy's voice.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's why the dreams contained things she couldn't possibly remember.</p><p><br/></p><p>And the terrifying truth?</p><p><br/></p><p>The girl we've been following throughout the entire story is actually Amy.</p><p><br/></p><p>Her mother had spent seventeen years convincing her that she was Eni.</p><p><br/></p><p>But Amy slowly began remembering.</p><p><br/></p><p>The knife.</p><p><br/></p><p>The ritual.</p><p><br/></p><p>The blood.</p><p><br/></p><p>Her sister.</p><p><br/></p><p>Her mother's lie.</p><p><br/></p><p>And the reason Amy kept telling her:</p><p><br/></p><p>“You were never supposed to remember.”</p><p><br/></p><p>She wasn't threatening her.</p><p><br/></p><p>She was warning her.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because once Amy remembered everything, Eni's memories would disappear.</p><p><br/></p><p>And that's exactly what happened.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p> THE VERY LAST SCENE</p><p><br/></p><p>The girl stood in front of the mirror.</p><p><br/></p><p>Her mother was behind her.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Eni,” she whispered.</p><p><br/></p><p>The girl smiled.</p><p><br/></p><p>Slowly, she turned around.</p><p><br/></p><p>And for the first time in seventeen years...</p><p>she answered:</p><p><br/></p><p>“My name is Amy.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Her mother's face went completely white.</p><p><br/></p><p>The girl stepped closer.</p><p><br/></p><p>“You killed the wrong daughter.”</p><p><br/></p><p>Her mother began trembling.</p><p><br/></p><p>“No…”</p><p><br/></p><p>Amy smiled.</p><p><br/></p><p>The same innocent smile she had when she was a little girl.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then she picked up the kitchen knife.</p><p><br/></p><p>Her mother backed away.</p><p><br/></p><p>“Amy…”</p><p><br/></p><p>Amy tilted her head.</p><p><br/></p><p>“You always said I was dangerous.”</p><p><br/></p><p>She looked at the knife.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then back at her mother.</p><p><br/></p><p>“You were right.”</p><p><br/></p><p>The lights went out.</p><p><br/></p><p>A scream tore through the house.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then silence.</p><p><br/></p><p>The next morning, the police found the house empty.</p><p><br/></p><p>No mother.</p><p><br/></p><p>No daughter.</p><p><br/></p><p>No blood.</p><p><br/></p><p>Nothing.</p><p><br/></p><p>Except a photograph sitting on the kitchen table.</p><p><br/></p><p>Two little girls stood beside their mother.</p><p><br/></p><p>On the back of the photograph were four words:</p><p>“WE BOTH WOKE UP.”</p><p><br/></p><p>And beneath it...</p><p><br/></p><p>written in fresh blood:</p><p><br/></p><p>“NOW YOU KNOW.”</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>

We pick the top 3.

The Rankings/Leaderboard shows the Top 20 contributors and engagers on TwoCents a monthly and all-time basis
— as well as the most active colleges (users attending/that attended those colleges)
The all-time contributors ranking is based on the Contributor Score, which is a measure of all the engagement and exposure a contributor's content receives.
The monthly contributors ranking tracks performance of a user's insights for the current month. The monthly and all-time scores are calcuated DIFFERENTLY.
