Hello little me,

Just thought to give you an update

On what’s being going on

Since you died.

I’m calling because I finally remember you,

the writer, the singer, the girl who

wanted to break things just to see the sparks.

You had so many ideas, so much in your head,

always wanting to run out and create

something out of nothing.

I remember we drew a whole machine

structure, wrote the manual and plan

to do that once we fully become

engineers but

I still remember and I don’t plan

on letting that go. We will

build it.

But I’ll be honest, I got distracted.

I let the world get too loud

and I lost that shield of confidence

I used to carry.

I lost my spark.

I let the world decide for me

and I started to lose confidence

in myself and stopped making

my decision.

I spent years trying to be productive

but still felt useless.

I was surrounded by people

but still felt like a ghost.
