The Russo-Ukranian War: How The West Created This Monster

When the Russo-Ukranian war started, I was quite naive, I must admit. I supported Ukraine and I hated Russia and Putin, so to say, for instigating the aggression without provocation. Many people still feel this way.

I used to think, isn't Ukraine a sovereign country? Why can't they join any alliance they wish to? Why do they have have to take permission from Russia first? And I came to the conclusion that Russia was the big bad wolf as US influenced conventional media wants everyone to believe.

I got really interested in the war and started doing my own research. Guess what I found. There was an agreement at the end of the cold war and the disintegration of the USSR in 1990 that NATO wouldn't move eastward, but as is usual of the West, they don't keep agreements if it doesn't guarantee them super power status.

They flouted every word of that agreement till Ukraine, and that's the fucking provocation for the war. It would interest you to know that the US has been meddling in Ukrainian domestic politics for a long time before the war started.

They sponsored the removal of a Ukrainian president, Viktor Yanukovych who was pro-Russian and tagged him corrupt. Here, they successfully did what they intended to pull off in Iran.

They incited the people, funded an uprising and called it a revolution. The so called revolution gave it legitimacy and made it look like it was the will of the people and democracy had won, but in truth, it was a carefully orchestrated take-over for Western interests.

It would interest you to know that the US handpicked Yanukovych's replacement while he was still in office.

A US official, Victoria Nuland, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Euroasian Affairs in a leaked phone call with the then US Ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, stated her choice, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the pro-Western opposition leader as Yanukovych's successor two (2) weeks before he was ousted. Guess who was appointed Prime minister within a month. You guessed that right 😁

America and its European allies have been preparing the ground and covertly manipulating events behind the scenes which ultimately led to this war. The only thing in my opinion that wasn't given too much consideration, was Russia's reaction, given that they played it cool when Poland, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria, etc were wooed into joining NATO.

This is a proxy war for the US and Europe in a bid to bring Russia down and dismantle it, and Ukraine, under Zelensky, another US stooge is just a pawn.

Let it be known that whether it be Biden or Trump, Democrat or Republican in the White House, US foreign policy is the same - global dominance and bringing down any country that threatens this goal, by any means necessary, whether overtly or covertly.

For a country whose legitimate government and sovereignty are being threatened by NATO meddling, Russia's military response is legitimate and justified.

If the United States would not tolerate a rival military alliance establishing a significant military presence in Mexico or Canada, why should Washington expect Russia to be comfortable with the prospect of Ukraine becoming a NATO military outpost?
