The Things I Never Said🥺🖋️
<p>There are so many things I wanted to say,</p><p>but somehow, the words never came.</p><p><br/></p><p>Things I wanted people to understand,</p><p>things I wished someone would ask me about,</p><p>and things I didn't even know how to explain.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, I had so much to say,</p><p>but when the moment came,</p><p>I just smiled and said,</p><p>"It's nothing."</p><p><br/></p><p>But it was something.</p><p>It was always something.</p><p><br/></p><p>There were apologies I waited for,</p><p>words I wanted to hear,</p><p>and conversations I had in my head</p><p>that never happened in real life.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, I wonder</p><p>if things would have been different</p><p>if I had just spoken.</p><p><br/></p><p>Would they have understood?</p><p>Would they have stayed?</p><p>Would anything have changed?</p><p><br/></p><p>I guess I'll never know.</p><p><br/></p><p>And maybe that's the hardest part,</p><p>not knowing what could have happened</p><p>if I had been brave enough</p><p>to say what was on my mind.</p><p><br/></p><p>But I'm learning that</p><p>not every thought needs to be spoken,</p><p>and not every silence means</p><p>I had nothing to say.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes, I was scared.</p><p>Sometimes, I didn't have the words.</p><p>And sometimes,</p><p>I simply didn't know how to begin.</p><p><br/></p><p>So, there are things I never said,</p><p>and perhaps there always will be.</p><p><br/></p><p>But if I ever get another chance,</p><p>I hope I find the courage</p><p>to let some of those words out.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because I wonder how many things</p><p>we leave unsaid</p><p>that we spend years wishing</p><p>we had said.</p>
