TWOCENTS: WHERE MY WORDS STARTED MAKING SENSE.

There are some places you visit and leave almost immediately. Then there are places you find and somehow feel like you have always belonged there. For me, that place is TwoCents. Long before now, writing was not always easy for me. I struggled with consistency. Sometimes I had ideas but couldn't put them into words. Other times, I simply didn't feel motivated enough to write. Then TwoCents came. TwoCents is a space where writers and creatives can share their thoughts, connect with people, and actually earn from what they create. Every comment earns you something, whether you are the one giving the comment or receiving it. And honestly, there is something beautiful about knowing that your words have value. It gave me another reason to keep writing. Not just because I love writing, but because there is something different about doing what you love and knowing that it can also put something in your pocket. Especially during "cash out hour" every weekend. You know that feeling when something you used to do just for fun starts earning you money? That's a different kind of joy. TwoCents has also given me the opportunity to meet other writers. People whose names have become familiar to me, people whose writings I look forward to seeing. Ealo, Big Dee, Esther Lawrence, Trixie Wright, Faye, C.G.A.O., and other creatives I might have forgotten to mention. Each person brings something different to the platform. Different voices, different ideas, different ways of looking at things. And somehow, reading their works makes the space feel less like an app and more like a community of people who genuinely enjoy creating. And that one person who uses dots as their name,just as their writing makes you stop fully to think 😂 And I can't forget Keeyra, the person who introduced me to this beautiful space in the first place. Sometimes, one recommendation can lead you somewhere you never knew you needed to be. This paragraph is got you. I don't know why I couldn't tag you here sef. Then there are the competitions. The last one, the Olodo Uprising competition, asked a very interesting question: “Are we rewarding authenticity or ignorance?” I think that topic holds the record for the highest number of entries so far, with over 50 entries. It was more than just a Mini Competition, it showed how much creativity and different perspectives could come together in one space. That's an achievement for real. And behind all of this is the brain and motive behind the platform, Twocents gan gan and especially Cyrus Billion, the moderator and abi make I call him the co-creator of the site? I genuinely love what TwoCents represents and the thought behind creating a space like this, thank you, sirs. No annoying ads fighting for your attention. No feeling that you have to be popular before people notice you. Even as a newbie, you can trend if you are good at what you do. And maybe that's what I love most about TwoCents. It gives people a chance. A chance to write. A chance to be seen. A chance to meet other creatives like me.🤭 A chance to grow. And yes, a chance to earn from something they genuinely love. For someone who once struggled with consistency in writing, TwoCents has been a blessing. It has reminded me that sometimes, all a writer needs is the right space, the right motivation, and people who understand the value of what they create. TwoCents has become more than just an app to me. It has become a little... (Little is an understatement), a big world where my words make sense.
