WOMEN ARE LIKE ROSES
<p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Women are like roses.</p><p><br/></p><p>Beautiful,</p><p>but never born without thorns.</p><p><br/></p><p>Before a rose learns how to bloom,</p><p>it first learns how to survive.</p><p><br/></p><p>It pushes through the soil</p><p>with nothing but faith in the sunlight.</p><p><br/></p><p>It grows slowly,</p><p>quietly,</p><p>beneath the surface,</p><p>where nobody sees the struggle.</p><p><br/></p><p>Then come the thorns.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sharp little reminders</p><p>that beauty was never designed</p><p>to be completely unprotected.</p><p><br/></p><p>The rose doesn't complain about the thorns.</p><p>It grows with them.</p><p><br/></p><p>And perhaps that is the mystery of women.</p><p><br/></p><p>They bleed,</p><p>but they still blossom.</p><p><br/></p><p>They get disappointed,</p><p>but somehow,</p><p>they still find room in their hearts</p><p>to love again.</p><p><br/></p><p>They are broken by seasons</p><p>that were never gentle with them,</p><p>yet they wake up every morning</p><p>and choose to become beautiful anyway.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some have been watered by tears.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some have grown through storms.</p><p><br/></p><p>Some have been pruned by heartbreak,</p><p>cut down by betrayal,</p><p>neglected by people</p><p>who never understood their worth.</p><p><br/></p><p>And still...</p><p><br/></p><p>They bloom.</p><p><br/></p><p>You see the flower,</p><p>but you don't see the weather.</p><p><br/></p><p>You admire the petals,</p><p>but you don't know how many storms</p><p>the roots had to survive.</p><p><br/></p><p>You compliment the fragrance,</p><p>but you don't know how much darkness</p><p>the seed had to endure before it found light.</p><p><br/></p><p>And those thorns?</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't mistake them for bitterness.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes,</p><p>they are boundaries.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes,</p><p>they are scars that learned how to protect themselves.</p><p><br/></p><p>Sometimes,</p><p>they are simply proof</p><p>that something beautiful</p><p>had to learn not to be destroyed.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because a rose doesn't lose its beauty</p><p>because it has thorns.</p><p><br/></p><p>If anything,</p><p>the thorns tell you</p><p>that the flower has a story.</p><p><br/></p><p>And women...</p><p><br/></p><p>Women have stories.</p><p><br/></p><p>Stories of being underestimated.</p><p>Of being abandoned.</p><p>Of starting over.</p><p>Of carrying families while quietly falling apart.</p><p>Of smiling in rooms</p><p>where they once cried.</p><p><br/></p><p>Stories of losing pieces of themselves</p><p>and somehow gathering enough courage</p><p>to become whole again.</p><p><br/></p><p>That's why you should be careful</p><p>when you meet a woman</p><p>who has finally blossomed.</p><p><br/></p><p>You may be looking at petals.</p><p><br/></p><p>But she remembers the soil.</p><p><br/></p><p>You may smell the fragrance.</p><p><br/></p><p>But she remembers the rain.</p><p><br/></p><p>You may admire the beauty.</p><p><br/></p><p>But she remembers every thorn</p><p>that taught her how to survive.</p><p><br/></p><p>So don't ask a rose</p><p>why it has thorns.</p><p><br/></p><p>Ask yourself</p><p>what it had to survive</p><p>to become a rose.</p><p><br/></p><p>And when you meet a woman</p><p>who has survived her seasons</p><p>and still chooses to be soft...</p><p><br/></p><p>Don't call her fragile.</p><p><br/></p><p>Call her a rose.</p><p><br/></p><p>Because some of the most beautiful things</p><p>in this world</p><p>didn't bloom because life was gentle.</p><p><br/></p><p>They bloomed</p><p>because they refused to die.</p><p><br/></p>
