I Think I’m Ready to Try Humans 😂
<p>So I Finally Tried Drawing a Human Portrait ✍🏽</p><p><img alt="" src="/media/inline_insight_image/IMG_20260919_180205.jpg"/></p><p>For the longest time, I've always felt human portraits were not really my thing. 😂</p><p>I mostly draw anime and animals, and I've always known that drawing real people is one area I still need to work on.</p><p>But there's someone on Two Cents who has always liked my drawings and had once told me she'd love me to draw her portrait.</p><p>So I finally said… okay, let me try. 😂</p><p>I started by turning her picture into a sketch and breaking the face down with simple shapes and guide lines. Then I tried to follow those shapes with my pencil and bring the face out.</p><p>Is it a perfect likeness? Definitely not. 😢 </p><p>But this is actually my first time sketching a real human being, and honestly, I'm happy with how far I got.</p><p>I know there's still a lot I need to learn, especially when it comes to getting someone's features and proportions right, but I'm glad I finally challenged myself to try something I've always struggled with.</p><p>But that cheek really trouble me 😂 which i no later get 😭 </p><p>I will begin sketching now till I improved on real human sketch </p><p>Maybe this is the beginning of another part of my art journey. ✍🏽</p><p>To the person I drew, I hope I didn't disappoint you too much. 😂🤍</p><p>What do you think of my first attempt?</p>
