More Than Sound
<p style="text-align: center; "><em><strong>More Than Sound</strong></em></p><p style="text-align: center; "><em><strong><br/></strong></em></p><p>When the breeze tingles my skin,</p><p>when the world spins somewhere in between,</p><p>when I am lost between shimmer and sim,</p><p>there is one thing....</p><p>one thing that lets me feel it within.</p><p><br/></p><p>It passes like a wave of melody,</p><p>softly, exquisitely,</p><p>and—dim, dim, dim.....</p><p>my muscles fire, then loosen.</p><p>My whole body falls in tune with it;</p><p>aching nerves release their grip</p><p>and surrender to its rhythm.</p><p><br/></p><p>I get lost between body and soul</p><p>as the harmony pierces both.</p><p>It becomes a magic tune,</p><p>yet like no other.......</p><p>its notes move with such fluidity,</p><p>releasing a sound</p><p>no master could ever fully project.</p><p><br/></p><p>And somehow, a muse allows it to transcend,</p><p>leaving behind the aura of its past.</p><p>It is no longer merely sound,</p><p>but something more.</p><p><br/></p><p>Not by its power alone,</p><p>but through the harmony of powerful notes,</p><p>it creates a force that slips beyond the human ear</p><p>and travels quietly into the subconscious,</p><p>like a thief in the night.</p><p><br/></p><p>It is not its brother, Dance,</p><p>who moves swiftly to the beat</p><p>of its merriment.</p><p><br/></p><p>No.</p><p><br/></p><p>This is the thing that gives Dance its rhythm,</p><p>that teaches silence how to sing,</p><p>that turns trembling nerves into stillness</p><p>and stillness into joy.</p><p><br/></p><p>It flows.</p><p>It exhilarates.</p><p>It soothes.</p><p><br/></p><p>And when the final note disappears,</p><p>something remains—</p><p><br/></p><p>a feeling without a name,</p><p>a rhythm beneath the silence,</p><p>a melody the body remembers</p><p>long after the ears have forgotten.</p><p><br/></p><p>That is its power.</p><p><br/></p><p>That is what transcends.</p><p><br/></p><p>That is music.</p>
