<p style="text-align: justify; ">Saturday is probably the only day that can make laziness look like a carefully planned lifestyle.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You wake up without an alarm and immediately feel like you have achieved something.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">No one is chasing you.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">No class to rush to.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">No boss asking, “Have you done it?”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Just you, your phone, and the very convincing idea that the day is still young.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You check one notification.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Then another.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Someone has posted a funny video.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You watch it.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Another one comes up.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You watch that too.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Before you know it, you have travelled through three different people's lives, learnt absolutely nothing, laughed at something you can't explain, and somehow it's already 11:47.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Then you remember the things you planned to do.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Laundry.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Cleaning.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">That errand you promised to run.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">That message you said you'd reply yesterday.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You look at all of them and think:</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">“There's still plenty of time.”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">This is how Saturday quietly negotiates with your responsibilities.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Around 3pm, you suddenly become ambitious.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You stand up.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Look around the room.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Maybe clean a little.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Maybe go outside.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Maybe get something to eat.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Then someone calls:</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">“Where are you?”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You look at the clock.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">You look at yourself.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">And with the confidence of someone who has accomplished absolutely nothing, you say:</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">“I'm around.”</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">Saturday doesn't really need a schedule.</p><p style="text-align: justify; "><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify; ">It just needs snacks, a charged phone, and enough confidence to postpone Monday until Sunday night. 😂</p>
