He was her past.</p><p>That should’ve been enough reason to stay away and for a long time, it was. I minded my own business, ignored the whispers, and kept my rule: never touch what once belonged to a friend.</p><p><br/></p><p>But life had other plans.</p><p>One meeting led to another, casual banter turned into something deeper, and before I realized it, I was in the middle of a story I had no intention of writing. A story of sharp words, laughter, confusion, late-night calls, and moments I can never forget.</p><p><br/></p><p>It wasn’t betrayal. It wasn’t planned.
