So guys let me gist you When I just graduated from high school, SS3 and my dad gave me money to get myself anything I want at all as a gift. my daddy literally counted money, cash and gave me In my mind I did not want to spend all the money I still wanted to still keep small change for myself. But I did not tell him I wanted to keep small change for myself in my mind oo, but I did want to keep small change, so I went to the market. When I got there, Nyanya market, So if you stay in Abj, you will know where I am talking about. I went to the market and literally entered to shop something in for myself by myself. I was so excited Meh, I had to get one item. One item I would keep but what would it be. I searched the store and finally found an office bag, that was on my budget and funny enough after buying that bag, I will still have change , that was what was on my mind till I got to the counter to pay. So when I got to the counter. The owner of the store walked up to me and slapped me . Omo wetin I never see with my two naked eyes. After madam slapped me, she said Where is your mummy? Are you mad? Started speaking Yoruba. In my mind Who is this mad woman?Someone cannot shop in peace again? Mind you,I was still holding the bag She continues Which type of rubbish is this? Some people don't know how to hold their children? Children keh I was still surprised and shocked to. When one woman shouted Madam what is wrong now? What did this little girl do to you,that you give her that kind of slap? Are you mad? The owner of the store replied, So you are the mother of this girl that is picking this bag with her left hand abi So it was my left hand that was the problem! Na your pikin, please next time if she's picking anything in this store, tell her to hold it on her right hand... I just said sorry ma and paid for that bag Then One man walked up to me and said Little girl Next time Do not apologize for something when you are not wrong. Then he asked Did you steal the bag,I said: no,I just paid for it The man said I saw that you paid for that bag and not all young girls that come to this store, pay. They'd either use it to take pictures and abandon it . Your left hand is also your hand, don't be ashamed to hold things with your hands. Then he turned to the store owner Madam you should never talk to any customer like that even if this girl looks like a young girl. Everybody deserves respect. Did she say she'll not pay. You are selling and she's buy, you are supposed to be treating every paying client with respect. Not like this. Then he said Next time stand up for yourself. When I left the store with my bag and went to purchase something else, honestly I was not feeling excited like I felt initially,so I decided to go home. Then In the evening I showed my daddy the bag and told him what happened... I started ... I was saying Was it my fault that I am left-handed? Then he said The same thing that man said Stand up for yourself, after all you bought the bag , don't keep quiet when someone decides to oppress you because you are smalland then he dashed me money. Omo for me it was a long day,so I decided to sleep and woke up the next day feeling good Honestly at first anytime I see that bag I will just hissI will just be angry. I could not throw it away,so I started using it two months after my purchase, See you will not believe it but that bag lasted since that time till now. It has been with me till date (3 years now) it always goes well with my corporate outfits,so I use it for school most times. It has many pockets and a space for a laptop, just that perfect fit. And I was not expecting it to last, because with that kind of attitude from that woman,in my mind will soon peel but it did not Now oh well I'm enjoying the bag because it actually lasted but I am still have onsra everytime I see that bag.
